There are times when you may need to disconnect the integration between Citation HR Software and Xero. This could be due to needing to connect your Citation HR Software account to a different Xero account. You may also need to disconnect the integration before reconnecting it, if the person who originally set up your integration has left your organisation and is no longer a user within your Xero account.
We recommend disconnecting the integration with Xero through Citation HR Software. This should automatically delete Citation HR Software as a Connected App within your Xero account, but you should check this once completed.
1. Navigate to Settings and then select Account Settings
2. Under Account Details navigate to the Integration tab
3. Click on Disconnect from Xero
When you click on the “Disconnect from Xero” button in Citation HR Software, the options for 'Turn on automatic import from Xero' and 'Turn on automatic export from Xero' will become unticked. The rest of the settings will remain ticked.
To confirm that the disconnection has been completed, we recommend that you check the settings in your Xero account.
1. Go to your Xero account and navigate to the tile of dots on the right
2. Click Manage app connections
3. Click Connected Apps
4. If you see Citation HR/HR Assured is still listed as a connected app, you can click 'Disconnect' and then confirm the disconnection.
