Training Dashboard - Filters
Capability is selected by default when capability data exists otherwise, the filter defaults to All Types.
The dropdown lists every competency type available to your organisation, and dashboard results update to match your selection.
All Types shows results across all competency types.
The selection works alongside your other dashboard filters, and types with no data are handled cleanly.
apostrophe is now accepted as a valid email character
Email validation has been updated to accept the full set of characters permitted in the local part of an address under RFC 5322, including apostrophes, and characters such as ! # $ % & * + - / = ? ^ _ { | } ~ and dots (with the usual restrictions on leading, trailing, and consecutive dots):
Records with apostrophes in the email address can be created, saved, and retrieved, with the address displayed exactly as entered.
Platform emails — invitations, activation, password resets, and notifications — are delivered to these addresses as normal, and affected users can log in and reset their passwords.
Genuinely invalid addresses are still rejected with the same validation message as before.
The updated validation applies consistently across manual user creation, employee record creation and editing, bulk import, and the relevant API endpoints.
Existing email records are unaffected by this change.
KiwiSaver Mapping updates
The savings suspension status sent to iPayroll is now derived from the employee's employer contribution value:

Existing employees are corrected automatically. Where the status currently held in iPayroll doesn't match the value derived by this rule, it is updated on that employee's next sync — no action is required from you.
Hazards Records
Using Email these details on a hazard record that had a risk register item attached now populates and sends successfully for hazard records, and includes all the hazard information that already appeared for records without one. Behaviour for hazards with no risk register item attached is unchanged.
