Health monitoring is the observance and checking of a person's health in order to identify where changes are identified in the person's health status due to exposure to hazardous substances.
Legislation places a duty on a PCBU ('person conducting a business or undertaking') to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health of workers is monitored to prevent illness or injury.
The 'Health Surveillance Register' is only viewable and accessible by users who have the 'WHS Health Surveillance' security role in Citation HR Software.
