User: How to reset your core Citation HR Software User password

It is possible that you may forget your password for Citation HR Software and are having issues logging in.

There are two ways to reset your password depending on whether the email address of the user has been entered into Citation HR Software.

Scenario 1: Users have email address in Citation HR Software 

Step 1: Launch your Internet browser (preferably Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge).

Step 2: Go to Citation HR website: https://www.hracloud.com.au/login/ or https://www.hracloud.co.nz/login/

Step 3: Click on ‘Login’ at top right corner of your screen.

Step 4: You will be re-directed to https://login.hracloud.com/. Click on ‘Forgot Password?’.

Step 5: Enter your username. Check 'reCAPTCHA' box. Click on ‘Reset Password’.

Step 6: Webpage will be displayed informing about an email being sent to the email address associated with the username.

Step 7: You will receive an email with a link to set new password. Click on ‘Click Here’.

Step 8: Enter your new password and click on ‘Submit’.

Step 9: Your password is reset successfully.

Scenario 2: Users do not have email address in Citation HR Software

Step 1: Launch your Internet browser (preferably Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge)

Step 2: Go to Citation HR website: https://www.hracloud.com.au/login/ or https://www.hracloud.co.nz/login/

Step 3: Click on ‘Login’ at right hand top bottom of your screen.

Step 4: You will be re-directed to https://login.hracloud.com/. Click on ‘Forgot Password?’.

Step 5: Enter your username. Check 'reCAPTCHA' box. Click on ‘Reset Password’.

Step 6: Webpage will be displayed informing the user to connect with your manager to reset password.

Step 7: Managers can reset passwords by logging into core Citation HR Software. Go to 'Account Settings' and then clicking on 'Usernames and Passwords'. Managers will need to click on the relevant user profile, select 'Edit' and can either generate a random password or manually type the new password for impacted users.
